Global platforms are best for directions and businesses. In some countries, local platforms are far more complete: Naver or Kakao in South Korea, Baidu or Amap in mainland China, Yandex in Russia.
National mapping agency portals, such as Géoportail, swisstopo or GSI Maps, often have the most accurate topographic maps, historical aerial photos and land data for their country, free to view.
Maps of mainland China use an offset coordinate system, so coordinates copied from them will not match GPS exactly.
